The Milford Amateur Radio Club serves the Greater Cincinnati area through free license exams, community events and the Cincinnati Hamfest. The club also runs a Wires-X digital repeater that links local operators worldwide. Since it added digital capability in 2020, activity has grown with regular contacts to Europe and beyond.

This project will move the repeater to a higher site to reach more of the region. The new coverage will span eight Ohio counties and parts of Kentucky and Indiana, adding thousands of hams. It will also improve handheld access and make it easier for newcomers to try digital modes. When finished it will be the most wide-reaching Wires-X repeater in Greater Cincinnati and southwest Ohio.
