Date: August 2025
Amount: $42,565
New England Sci-Tech in Natick, Massachusetts is a STEM education center and makerspace. It offers programs in electronics, amateur radio, homeschool and scout workshops and public events like telescope nights. Its mission is to spark interest in science and radio through hands-on learning.
This project expands into digital radio with new workshops, online license courses, a Saturday club on SDR and digital modes, a high-altitude balloon program and scout labs. Funding will cover exam fees, radios for newly licensed youth, updated lab equipment and guest speakers. The goal is to attract more students to amateur radio, give them practical experience and keep them active in the hobby.
