The Lake Monroe Amateur Radio Society received grant funding to purchase a new public relations trailer. The trailer will be used by the club to garner public interest in amateur radio by providing a visible operating presence at community events in and around Winter Springs, Florida. LMARS regularly supports the events held by the City of Winter Springs such as the annual Independence Day celebration, Hometown Harvest, and Christmas Parade. The trailer will be central to outreach at these events, and will be equipped with necessary modifications such as an air conditioner, a portable power generator, and a portable tower.

Lake Monroe Amateur Radio Society's new public relations trailer

The Lake Monroe Amateur Radio Society has successfully replaced and upgraded its public relations trailer. The new trailer provides increased space and comfort, featuring a folding workspace, an efficient HVAC system, and a safer, more versatile Aluma Tower. It is now being used at community events to promote amateur radio. Serving Seminole County and Central Florida, LMARS looks forward to continuing its outreach efforts with this improved mobile station.
